Todd has joined the team at indus after spending the last 8 years working as the Highway Chief Engineer at the Department of Public Works for the City of Manchester, NH. He is a highly skilled professional engineer with years of experience in both municipal public works and engineering services. Todd has a passion for pavement preservation and recycling, experience with treatments at every stage of the asphalt deterioration curve, and a wealth of knowledge built during his 25+ year career.
Joel Faria has joined the indus team as our newest Regional Manager servicing Vermont, central and western Massachusetts, and eastern Connecticut. Joel comes to us from the Town of Granby, CT where as Deputy Director he was instrumental in upgrading the community’s pavement management program by placing a heavier emphasis on keeping good roads in good condition with surface treatments and other pavement preservation tools. Prior to Granby, Joel served as Foreman for the Westfield MA DPW where he was also responsible for adding new treatments to and modernizing the City’s pavement management program.
If there’s one thing Tom has learned from his three-plus decades of experience in the quarry and asphalt industry, it’s that building relationships is the most important part of his job. Creating and maintaining a good customer relationship gives Tom and his team the ability to not only reduce risk, but offer comprehensive solutions to a wide range of pavement problems.
From reconstructing docks to dealing with solid waste to repaving highways, Alan has been through it all in both the public and private sector. It’s that kind of experience that drives him to provide not only success or improvement, but both. He knows how to recognize a potential road problem and make an adjustment before it happens - a skill that can benefit almost any client. Nobody works harder at serving client needs.
Rob knows that pavement preservation isn’t just important for the road ahead, but every road ahead. That’s because his nearly two decades of experience has taught him that protecting one road helps protect the entire roadway network - and that saves taxpayer money. Having started his roadway career in the blacktop paving business in 1987, he’s seen firsthand how today’s mixes are not lasting as long as they used to and require more frequent maintenance. But for all his focus on roads, that’s not always what comes first. Rob puts most of his effort into making client relationships the strongest they can be.
