Elastomeric Joints.

Although bridges might look like immobile structures, they tend to (safely) shift around on a regular basis. Elastomeric joints help bring two parts of the bridge together in a way that’s firm, flexible and water-repellant.

After cleaning the surface area where the application will take place, the elastomeric concrete mixture is placed in the joint. The material cures and is ready for traffic within four hours. Various materials can be placed in the joint opening, and indus can recommend the proper one.

  • Cures quickly, allowing traffic back on the road sooner
  • Withstands weather, abrasions and other impacts
  • Uses flexible mortar which moves with the bridge over time

Consider Elastomeric Joints when

a bridge needs a seriously stable joint repair that is flexible enough to accept the impacts of traffic and weather.
